Custom Home - Rogers, AR
These clients had a clean, modern home design that we immediately fell in love with. We really enjoy custom home projects that have definitive architectural design.
From the trimless interior doors, to the baseboards with shadow cove that lie flush with the sheetrock, this home is fresh and crisp.
We love the abundance of glass and the large retracting 14-foot door that slides open to combine the indoor living space with outdoor patio.
The homeowners had great ideas, and it was a lot of fun putting them in place.
Here are a few of the ammenities: cork floors upstairs, polished concrete downstairs, cable handrails on stairwell and second-story deck, indoor garden bed for bamboo, flat TPO membrane roof, free-standing tub, double-sink vanity, heated towel rack, large master closet with island. This home shines, clean and white throughout the open floorplan.
House Remodel - Mount Sequoyah, Fayetteville, AR
This major remodel included a change of the roof-line to create a near flat roof, an entire rebuild of the front façade, and an extensive interior redesign and renovation. The exterior façade, designed using metal and cedar rainscreen, is complimented by large store-front windows, and a large front porch deck.
We added 400 square feet to the home, and both the exterior and interior boast straight, clean lines, lots of architectural detail, and extensive customizations, including a custom-made garage door, and an office space housing a cantilevered built-in desk and a pop-out window. An elaborately designed master suite with a beautiful curved wall, specialty windows, custom lighting, and a modern master bath complete the project's contemporary look.
This five bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home was built on an infill lot, which brought its own set of building challenges, but which were definitely outweighed by the close proximity to parks, the center of town, and the beautiful views. A focal point of the inside of this home is the custom island, specifically made extra-large, to take full advantage of the entire slab of granite. This home has an open floor plan and spacious bonus room, which makes for a very comfortable layout.
Engineered hardwoods and custom tiles were picked for the flooring areas. On the exterior facade, this client chose a white brick, white mortar and dark trim, which really makes the home stand out from the street. Cedar beams in the great room carry outside to the front wraparound porch. A large patio in the back provides a fun outdoor space to host and entertain.
Thank you La Fargues for the privilege of working on your project with you!
Custom Home East Fayetteville
This custom home was built to take advantage of a great view. This home was built in south Fayetteville on the side of a hill with a vista of the rolling Ozark hills. From the porch you can see for miles. We built a big wrap around front porch as well as a back patio perfect for grilling. Inside we created an open floor plan, complete with a cozy fireplace and sitting area in the living room. The craftsman style carries throughout the house, with built-in cabinets, trim, and window benches that maximize every piece of the space, as well as offer full advantage of the views. Engineered hardwood throughout a majority of the home makes the entire home feel large, clean, and warm. Thank you, Cates, for allowing us to work with you on your home!
Tontitown Custom Home
Home Restoration & Garage Addition-- Downtown Bentonville
During this extensive home renovation, we worked with our clients to take a home that was built around the turn of the 20th century and bring it
back to life. While we did add 21st century utilities and functions, we tried to keep the home authentic to the original era and design.
We added just over 400 sf, including a two-car garage, a breezeway to the kitchen, and a transformation of the attic into a third story with guest
bedroom and bath. We created an all-new kitchen, including new appliances, cabinets, a large island, and a deep farmhouse sink, finishing it off with trim that matched the rest of home.
By using custom craftsmen, we were able to match to the new hand-railing on third-floor stairwell with the antique handrail (original to the home)
on the first floor stairwell. We also matched the siding on the garage to that of the original home. Outside, we added a new backyard deck and a new
The mechanicals and electric were updated. We refinished all the hardwood floors, and repainted everything both inside and out to freshen the
space. The homeowners chose to keep the original, antique fire mantel, and it adds exquisite detail to the finished home.
Custom Home - Fayetteville
This custom home is located on sloped wooded lot in east Fayetteville. The homeowners decided to add a walk-out basement to take advantage of the natural hill. The covered deck on the back of the home allows for a beautiful view of the rolling hills of south Fayetteville. We incorporated many natural materials both inside and out–cedar and stone–to tie the project together. The basement boasts a built–in bar and kitchen, and the bar top is made out of solid walnut from a local mill in the area. The main kitchen has painted shake cabinets with granite countertops. This home is also fitted with the most technologically advanced home security, audio, and visual package.
Custom Home - Beaver Lake
We got to work with some fantastic clients on a gorgeous project in Rogers. This home was built out by Beaver lake—a great place to build your dream home. This home has a split floor plan that flows really well. Interior colors blend with the dark-stained, knotty alder cabinets. We used tile and hardwood to finish the flooring in the main living spaces. Granite counter tops give the kitchen and bathrooms a real spark. The cedar and stone columns that flank entry after a rustic feel, and we carried that into the living room with cedar beams that tie it all together. The brick and real stone selection on the exterior compliment one another and offer curb appeal to this solidly built home. Thank you, Campbells, for the opportunity to work with you! We are so grateful for you both!
Custom Home-Acreage in NWA
What a fun time we had working with our clients to build this home out on property west of Decatur. The family wanted to create a living space that would be a great place to host friends, as well as a relaxing space to come after a long day’s work in town. We started by making this home all one level, so that it would be comfortable and livable for many years. The home has a great man cave that can host large groups or provide a place to relax with the family. The outdoor living space is accompanied by a pool and covered patio. The interior was finished with painted cabinets and granite counters, and the floors combine polished concrete and engineered hardwood. Carrying the stone and cedar from exterior to interior helped create flow and seamlessness from outside to in. A pond was added in the front yard, complete with a waterfall.
Thank you Humphreys for allowing us the honor of working with you on your beautiful project.
Home Remodel, Fayetteville
We are just wrapping up this remodel. We changed the front facade to give this ranch style home a more modern clean feel and look. We also added a bath to the master bedroom.
Home Addition and Remodel - Wilson Park, Fayetteville
Our clients wanted to add lots of new space to this small home in Wilson Park, but they also wanted ensured the addition would feel seamless—like the new parts of the home had always been there in the first place. We added approximately 2000 SF, along with a detached carport. The design focus was centered around using natural stains and lots of windows to make the rooms as light and airy as possible. By reusing some of the old brick and adding stone to both the new and old exterior, we were able to blend the lines between the existing and the new. On the interior we gave the old house a fresh coat of paint, along with refinishing the original hardwood floors to make them look like new again. We also added a back deck with a sunken hot tub to take advantage of the large back yard.
Home Addition - Downtown, Bentonville, AR
This project is located in the hearth of downtown. We are updating the existing home. Along with that, we are adding some much needed square footage and a pool.
2nd Floor Addition - Springdale, AR
The Cloud Family needed to get more space but loved their location. So the only thing to do is go up and add a second floor. We worked with an architect to figure out the best way to take advantage of the huge space in the attic. We were able to get close to 900 SF with a couple of bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kids play loft. Not the easiest of projects, but great clients to work with. In the end it was a huge success for everyone.
Kitchen/living Room Remodel
This project started due to the super cold weather we had this winter. This couple happened to be gone one weekend and their water lines froze and busted in the attic. Water ran all weekend and flooded the kitchen, dining room, living room and master bed room.
Well bad news is everything was pretty much ruined in these areas. Good news is we were able to give them the kitchen that they were really wanting.
The main project was the kitchen. Everything was replaced and we added a kitchen island. We put a butcher block counter on it and stained it with an oil that would soak deep so the finish was not just on the surface.
We also added some cedar beams to the living room to bring it all together.
Custom Home - Springdale, AR
This is a custom home for a very wonderful family of 7 needing more space. This home is 5500 square feet plus. Due to the lot we were able to do a walk out basement. This allowed us to do an extra bedroom and bath in the basement with a game room and small kitchenette. We also put a safe room in the basement corner. One the first and second floor we had 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There was also an office and a workout room included. We also added a pool to the back yard.
Home Addition and Remodel - Farmington, AR
For the homeowners of this project, we added 1800 square feet of space to their existing home, 900 sf on a main floor and 900 sf on a second floor. The home addition was designed to give the family more room for hobbies—namely, quilting—as well as to allow room for children and grandchildren when family comes to visit.
The new main floor space includes a bathroom, a desk/office area, a library, and a large open room for sewing machines. Upstairs includes a second bath and two bedrooms with expansive closets and storage space.
Special features on this project included: an elevator, a full hardwood staircase, hardwood floors, a wrap-around covered deck with two sitting gazebos, hardy-board siding, a backup whole-home generator, and a cupola on the roof ridge—complete with a razorback weathervane.
We also made improvements to the existing home by adding hardwood floors throughout, creating a large kitchen pantry with custom wire shelving, and expanding the master closet and lining a portion of it with cedar.
Custom Home - Siloam Springs, AR
When we started, the spacious lot (with beautiful trees!) was actually very rocky. We had clearing to do, and a lot of rocks were removed. The finished product was worth it. The home looks fantastic. The homeowner's three bedroom, two-and-a-half custom-built home features a specialty wood-burning fireplace that gives off enough heat to warm practically the entire space. They also included a safe room, covered patio, and cellulose insulation (recycled newspaper.) The kitchen features an island with granite countertop and bar and includes a matching custom granite backsplash.
